Please read these terms carefully before using Amanpay services.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Amanpay ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services.

These terms apply to all users of Amanpay, including regular users and verified agents.

2. Eligibility

To use Amanpay, you must:

  • Be at least 18 years old
  • Be a resident of Iraq
  • Have a valid Iraqi phone number
  • Provide accurate and complete information during registration
  • Complete KYC (Know Your Customer) verification when required

3. Account Registration and Security

Account Creation:

  • You must provide accurate, current, and complete information
  • One account per phone number
  • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account
  • You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized access

Account Security:

  • Keep your PIN and password confidential
  • Do not share your account credentials with anyone
  • Enable biometric authentication when available
  • We are not liable for losses from unauthorized access due to your negligence

4. Services Provided

Amanpay provides the following services:

  • Peer-to-Peer Transfers: Send and receive money to/from other Amanpay users
  • Agent Services: Deposit and withdraw cash through verified agents
  • Transaction History: View and export your transaction records
  • Notifications: Real-time alerts for account activity

5. Fees and Charges

Transaction fees may apply to certain services. All fees will be clearly displayed before you confirm a transaction. We reserve the right to change our fee structure with 30 days' notice.

Current fees can be viewed in the app or on our website.

6. Prohibited Activities

You agree NOT to:

  • Use Amanpay for illegal activities or money laundering
  • Create multiple accounts or use fake identities
  • Attempt to hack, reverse engineer, or compromise our systems
  • Use bots or automated systems to access the service
  • Engage in fraudulent transactions
  • Harass, threaten, or defraud other users or agents
  • Violate any applicable laws or regulations

Violation of these terms may result in immediate account suspension or termination.

7. Limitation of Liability

Amanpay is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service.

We are not liable for:

  • Losses due to unauthorized access resulting from your negligence
  • Service interruptions due to maintenance or technical issues
  • Actions of third-party agents (although we verify them)
  • Network or device issues beyond our control
  • Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages

Our total liability is limited to the amount of fees you paid to Amanpay in the past 12 months.

8. Dispute Resolution

If you have a dispute with Amanpay, please contact our support team first. We will attempt to resolve the issue amicably within 30 days. If unresolved, disputes will be settled under Iraqi law in the courts of Baghdad.

9. Account Termination

By You: You may close your account at any time by contacting support. Your balance will be transferred or refunded according to our procedures.

By Us: We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or pose a security risk.

10. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms of Service at any time. We will notify you of significant changes via the app or email. Continued use after changes indicates acceptance of the updated terms.

11. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Iraq. Any disputes shall be resolved in accordance with Iraqi law and in the courts of Baghdad.
